did anyone see the commercial during the Classic? It was an utter disappointment to me. Of course it's a tin boat, but the bow of the boat didn't look like it was in the water. At lease 3' of it anyway. When it was running the bow was too high and it was probably difficult for the driver. An Express doesn't act like that does it???

The Vexus aluminum boats are bad to the bone! There fiberglass version has some cool features, but they used automotive paint instead of gel. It's supposed to list longer, but both demo boats I saw had already rubbed through the paint to the primer on the hull from loading and unloading. These were the boats used for shows before they started hitting the market. The new Caymas boats win the fiberglass market, in my opinion. If you haven't seen them, they're Earl Bentz new boat.

I have the 18' aluminum, like any boat it has to be trimmed up or down. I have no complaints.

After looking at them at the Classic, general reading, and pictures, I wouldnt want one. I think there are much better options out there to consider before a vexus. If I was in the market for a high dollar glass bass boat, I'd be looking hard at a skeeter and maybe ranger. If I was looking for a tin rig, I'd be looking at xpress.

I heard if hull has any problems it almost impossible to fix. Or is very expensive to fix. With the way the Fiberglass is conjoined with the aluminum.

Ranger is built by Bass Pro. All the ranger guys quit and started vexus. Im telling you, the Caymas is an awesome looking boat.

never understood trying to turn a tin boat into a high dollar bass boat fiberglass has its place so does aluminum keep them where they belong each one serves its purpose very well. stop trying to reinvent the wheel. just like most things its a fad that will disappear soon. Im not spending top dollar on an aluminum boat that rides like fiberglass when they already sell tried and proven fiberglass designs.

On the internet it looks like they(Caymas) only makes 20 and 21' boats. The 21' is $76K rigged.

I looked at literally all boats before buying my new one in January. The caymas is the best boat I saw. Lay out wise it is perfect, but it is priced way too high for a 1st year boat
So I went back to triton.
