I managed to squeeze about a two weeks of half pay for my employees. After that they have to go home and I do not have a fix for it.

Societal breakdown always begins at the lowest levels. That's because they have less resources and less time to hold on. They work at subsistence wages, have no $ in the bank, buy food daily, and feel immediately the disruption in money/food/structure/security paradigm. The longer the disturbance, the bolder they get. The larger the need, the more aggressive their actions. Numbers matter. We think we are safe but we are are only nine hours from Chicago. The worst of the thugs/criminals could be on my doorstep, two stolen SUVs full, armed with really bad intent, by five in the morning. They aren't dumb. Will go for the easy close targets first. But when those are gone then its simply going up the food chain. I'm more than concerned. Nothing more I can do about it than I already have. Haven't shot anyone in a real long time but its a lot easier than most folks think.

I've been saying and I still believe in 2 weeks we will get the all clear to return to cautious normal routine. But, if I'm wrong and it goes 3 or more weeks the economic ramifications I can't imagine. Bankruptcies, foreclosures, no Christmas, no hunting club dues, outrageous unemployment, etc. It HAS to end in 2 weeks.....doesn't it?

You really think this is a political coup? Trump/his family is being negatively harmed by this.
Safe to assume bookings are WAY down and Cancelations are SKY HIGH at Trumps hotels/resorts.

Thanks for the revelation...i think a lot know this but it don't change the money missing from ya pocket right now...its a chitstorm and I'm not trying to disregard the virus cuz it can take a friend or family member also but for most folks at the moment it's economic related panic...

I asked on the Facebook page for employees and families of DoA's employer what their plan was and I got replies indicating that as of as late as this morning that crew changes were still going as usual, but that temperatures were being checked at the heliports and that if you have a fever you were being sent home.

So, I am trying to remain hopeful that he will get to come home, but a lot can change in a week with this craziness.

It may be, but there is a 100% chance my wife isn't going to work tomorrow because of it.

I took that as a worst case scenario, not what was expected.

He was speaking specifically about the virus trajectory, didn’t take it as any prognostication about the economy. The guidelines are for 15 days, Dr Anthony Fauci said that is how long they “expect” is needed to slow the trajectory of the virus.

It took China about a month to reach the peak of daily cases and about another month for those cases to get down to around 20 a day and to start sending people back to work. If that model held true here we are about two weeks from the peak and about six weeks from back to some sibilance or normal.

That data is closer to 3 weeks from initial jump to peak and 3 weeks of steady decline. I’v been watching Italy’s numbers to compare but they should peak in another 3-5 days. If they do then it would put us back to mostly normal about 4-5 weeks from now.
