If the virus has gotten substantially worse, and by that i mean the general population is in absolute full panic, legit widespread everyone knows someone "infected" or is "infected", mandatory nationwide quarantine, possible looting, etc. , will you change the way you feel currently about it? Ive seen both sides of the spectrum on here was just curious where everybody stands if it comes to that. Its been an eye opener for me personally with stock in the freezer which ive topped off. Just curious to others views if it gets that bad.

A week from today I'll be turkey hunting, a month from today I'll be turkey hunting.

I just read where Trump just said it might be August before this is over. Small businesses will bankrupt, millions will be unemployed and many won't have the means to buy basic necessities. Yes, it will be a complete catastrophe and there will be chaos if this last more than a couple weeks.

My thoughts on the virus, itself, haven't changed. I've known since last week that the panic that was setting in has more long term repercussions for the country than the virus , itself. Sure, we need to be smart about big gatherings, hygiene, and contact with the elderly and immune suppressed but don't buy into the usual drama queen, know-it-alls calling for everything to be shut down. They have no clue what that's going to cause and are just letting their emotions over rule logic.

I'm tired of it already. In my job, with us being at such a high risk of getting it (ship pilot station in Venice, LA), ANYONE with even a sniffle is not allowed at work. Guess who has a sniffle?? Yup - THIS GUY. I was sent home last week on Wednesday and am still home with a sinus infection. Had to go back to the doc today to get more steroids and antibiotics. I love not being at work, but HATE being forced to take sick days for just a sinus infection.

Watch for crime to increase as more people are told to stay home. Theft and such will be on the rise, especially in low income areas.

I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

I found another box of 44 mag in my stash. You might as well have it since I don't have a 44 anymore.

The layoffs have already started. My wife was laid off today as a direct result of Covid-19. Her and 399 others

Safe to assume we will see hours cuts/paycuts/layoffs/furloughs in quite a few industries.
Manufacturing, hospitality, retail, and petrochemical. The last being related to the Saudi VS USSR oil scuffle, so not ChinaVirus but layoffs regardless.

My view right now is we don’t really know what it is but people need to prepare.

If we go the way of Italy in a week then I would probably go to my lake place. Smaller town, people there don’t travel as much, social distancing not an issue. That way I could be outside. Heard a few virologist say they are starting to notice it doesn’t fair well in heat, sunshine and humidity

After what I've seen in the past 24 hours, nothing that happens will surprise me.

The virus itself will not last past the first of May. The stupidity will though.
