I went back to the same spot yesterday afternoon and had him all around me for 2 hrs before he flew up about 70\80 yards in front of me. I waited until black dark and slipped out then back in this morning early! Lol! I had walked 3\4 of a mile and was setting back in the same spot at 5:50 this morning. Watched him on the limb strutting and gobbling until he pitched off to my right into another tree then finally to the ground to my extreme right side. I switch around left handed but he's too far. He struts out of sight heading out of the swamp I'm in going behind me so I turn with him but he wouldn't come back into the swamp. When he finally started going away from me I moved back up onto the edge of the hill he was on and called and here he came back but wouldn't get where I could see him! Just 25 yards out he stood in a push road and gobbled for 30 minutes blowing my hat off every time. I scratched in the leaves and purred with my mouth yelper but he wouldn't break. He started leaving again so I got out my Fatal Attraxion glass and purred to him with it and that was just too much. He double gobbled and started coming back. I see bushes moving just left of the road, then finally his outline. Once he made it into the road at 15 steps he had 3 open options a road behind him or the push road going left and right. He decides to come straight at me through gallberry and sparkleberry bushes. Finally at 10 steps he hits an opening and I shot! 9 1\2" beard and 1 1\8" spurs. 17.1 lbs.
