I quit eating buffets after my whole family got sick with e coli from Kaceys Country Kitchen on South Parkway in Huntsville. About 4yrs ago. We aint ate a buffet or salad bar since, and i refuse to ever do it again. Besides the food temps being wrong, think about how many hands touch the food scoops at the foid bars. Its nasty. Those employees dont wash ANYTHING. They are nasty themselves. A sweet tea urn needs to be broken down each day and cleaned. They dont do that. Not to mention ice cream machines. Hell naw.

Never eaten at Golden Corral. Just never heard good things about it. I will on occasion eat at a Chinese Buffet, but I'm really not crazy about that. If I eat in a restaurant I like some one to bring me my food.

Chinese food is cooked at really high temps so its prolly the safest buffet you could eat at. But I usually run from buffets if I can.

I been saying the same in that memo for years, and avoiding it just as long.
The last time I ate in one was in Feb. of 2011. The day I killed a Gemsbok
on the White Sands Missile Range in southern NM (Alamogordo). I was so hungry that
day I did not care. Multiple pack trips to the truck was 13+ miles.
I remember the guy cooking those steaks telling me he would have one
ready in a few minutes and I replied "its ready - Rare, but ready."

The last time I ate at a Golden Corral was in 2008. Went with my oldest on his 5th grade trip to Washington. We were gone for 6 days and ate at that place at least once a day and most days, 2 or 3 times per day. My son and I swore we would never eat there again after that trip.

We use to have a customer from Nigeria that came over every year to buy trucks and parts. He was a big boy (300+) compared to all the other customer from that region. When we would pick him and one of his wives up from the airport the first place we had to go was Golden Coral. He would eat until he had to undo his pants. I think going to Golden Cora was the only reason he came over here.
