If someone was to say, invent the perfect virus to kill a huge majority of the western world this would sure sound close The mortality rate is too low for this to kill a huge majority. Even Italy had only 10% of cases die. The perfect virus would be as contagious as Covid-19 and be as deadly as smallpox or Ebola. That being said, Covid-19 seems to capable of causing very harmful social and economic disruptions despite the relatively low mortality rate. I will admit that is a very sobering video from a pretty damn realistic and down to Earth doctor.
A couple of comments:
1. Unlike what he is projecting, I hope we reached our peak on March 27th. 3 days ago.
2. When you listen to him explain how the virus works it makes me think even more that it was engineered. The more I learn about this virus the more I agree with your #2. A month ago I posted here that I believed the virus was man made in the Wuhan bio-weapons lab and that it accidentally escaped. I now believe that even more based on many more facts and circumstances learned since then. Now we know that people can be carriers for weeks without any symptoms at all - and they can contaminate everyone they come into contact with. And people who recovered from a bad case of it can later again test positive. This smacks of something evil and diabolical.

I think it was 100% man made... not sure if it was released or an accident or failed for what it was intended for...but my opinion don't matter much like 99% of population

The first 40 cases in Wuhan were shown to have no connection to that nasty outdoor "wet" food market.
The ChiComs "disappeared" the first doctor who wrote about it and his and others early testing and reporting was destroyed.
Then over a month later in December the ChiComs floated the food market claim.
As part of the cover up imo.
In late December they refused any outside medical scientist assistance - which continues.
They even kicked out the liberal news media from the USA - NYTs, WPost and some other outfit.
