Congrats. We caught our this turkey season as well. Opening weekend. charged to the highest extent. Been dealing with him since deer season. Time finally caught up to him. That was his 17th hunting offense. Guess they'll never learn.

I had them go ahead and sent it to the Court Clerk. He told me that I would first have to have warned the guy to stay off the property before the judge would get after the guy. This is such a damned shame you have to give a $#*@($#*@$#( trespasser a warning before anything can be done.

I had them go ahead and sent it to the Court Clerk. He told me that I would first have to have warned the guy to stay off the property before the judge would get after the guy. This is such a damned shame you have to give a $#*@($#*@$#( trespasser a warning before anything can be done. I agree. We had pictures of the truck, not the guy. He's in his mid-20's, doesn't live at home, but it was his dad's truck. It was only after someone put the pictures on facebook (I honestly don't know who.) that he mentioned it to his dad. He lied to dad by telling him the gates were open when he went in. When the investigator called the dad, he asked him if he wanted to see pictures of the shot locks or the gates on the ground. The Dad then gave the SD the boys cell and told them to call him. Even though we had multiple pictures of the truck, we had no pictures of him. We specifically had no pictures of him tearing down the gates or shooting the lock. Even though he admitted to these things over the phone to the investigator, I was told he could deny it all and we couldn't prove it. There are lessons to be learned here about camera placement and camera shot settings. Our cameras triggered too quick (only caught part of the truck) and were set for one picture before delaying. None of our pictures caught the occupant(s). My thought was someone trespassing would look for a camera at the gate. I put them about 100 yards inside the property, with the thought someone driving in would have stopped looking for a camera by then. The cameras are now close to the gates and set differently.

He won’t send you a pm if he’s on here. Poachers are cowards. That’s why they all run. I too agree that they prob get more of a thrill out of what they’re doing than they do the hunt. X2. Poachers are cowards. Im not a poacher but im pretty sure they aint dumb enough to contact you. Lol thats just admitting fault. What good would it do them to contact you 😆. Jake, probably to pick your brain to see just how much you’ve found out about them or how far along an investigation on them is.

They should make trespassing with a firearm a state jail felony, just like Texas. Most spend 24 hours in jail, but forever lose their right to own a modern firearm after conviction. Really? It's a victimless crime, unless you count the STATES animals as victims. I think the current fine for trespassing is almost overkill, isn't it like a thousand or twelve hundred dollars? That's a lot of money just for piddling on the wrong side of an invisible line. You dang sure shouldn't lose your right to keep and bear arms for the rest of your friggin life! That sound like something a liberal would say. I'll tell you the same thing I tell yankees… Don't come here because it's so great and then try to change it into the cesspool you came from.

Wow, that's an interesting opinion. I would argue that believing that you have the right to cross a property line and help yourself to what belongs to someone else is actually the Liberal position. Most conservatives believe in private property rights. And taking something that belongs to someone else - the right to hunt on your land - is most definitely not a victimless crime.

You win the dumbest post of the day!! Every tract of land that isn't owned by the state, or local government was paid for by someone (be it a corporation or an individual). You sound like the liberal with your open border policy bull malarkey. You are obviously a poacher and I hope you get caught soon

So is it okay with you for someone to trespass in your home, your truck, your yard, or just okay on your hunting land? Have you or do you own any land?
