They should make trespassing with a firearm a state jail felony, just like Texas. Most spend 24 hours in jail, but forever lose their right to own a modern firearm after conviction. Really? It's a victimless crime, unless you count the STATES animals as victims. I think the current fine for trespassing is almost overkill, isn't it like a thousand or twelve hundred dollars? That's a lot of money just for piddling on the wrong side of an invisible line. You dang sure shouldn't lose your right to keep and bear arms for the rest of your friggin life! That sound like something a liberal would say. I'll tell you the same thing I tell yankees… Don't come here because it's so great and then try to change it into the cesspool you came from. How long you been hunting OO’s land?

I know some good ol' boys that have generations of family in Grant and any one of 'em would stomp your ass if they caught you trespassing/hunting their land. You'd have to crawl your victimless ass back to wherever you came from.
I firmly believe that a double gallows should be constructed on the East Lawn of The White House. Politicians who willfully and shamelessly violate their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of America should be swiftly tried and, upon conviction, publicly hanged at sunup the day after conviction. If multiple convicts are to be hanged they can choose with whom to share the gallows or names shall be drawn from the hangman's hat to be hanged 2 at a time.

CRIMINAL TRESSPASS AND HUNTING WITHOUT PERMISSION AIN'T THE SAME DAMN THING FOR THE 1000TH TIME.
the fine for trespassing is NOT $1000, more like $100.
MOST property lines are certainly NOT invisible, they are usually marked in some way. Could be a fence, a timber change, signs lots of ways. Some lines are not marked but those are very few. And it it ain't YOURS it damn sure belongs to someone else.
carry on.....
I've spent most of the money I've made in my lifetime on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.....

carry on..... Indeed. And hunting without permission is what states like TX have made a more serious crime. That isn't simple trespassing; it's armed trespassing.

It’s a shame a man has to lie to himself to justify his misdeeds. You know there’s victims. Even if you don’t kill an animal you’ve boogered up another man’s spot that HIS time and HIS money went into, not yours. Also the lines aren’t invisible, they’re usually well known and have been for generations. Your attitude is exactly what has caused the emasculation of the southern male. You yourself have no clue how to be a man with a value system like that and I sincerely hope you aren’t raising kids. You are a child in an adult body. If you ever find yourself owning land in the future I’m sure your mind will change.

I'm just saying let the punishment fit the crime. Felony's are serious, they can ruin a mans life, and the law is passing them out like candy, we don't need any more non violent crimes to become felony's. I've been on both sides of it, I hate a trespasser too but I never wanted to ruin his life and take his rights away for life. I think what Wiley said.. "a good ass stomping" would be more in line with letting the punishment fit the crime. I think it costs so much now, in money and time, to kill the big buck you can take a stupid selfie with that your too invested in it to have a good time, and you HAVE to take it serious. I've been out of it for three years now and I have to tell you, my stress level has went waaay down. I'm not the only one either, there are several on here that have said the same thing. Life's too short to be stressing over a stupid deer, turkeys maybe.

"Life's too short to be stressing over a stupid deer, turkeys maybe."
The property I lease is next to a good ol'boy family of several households. I was told when I leased the place that you have to prosecute them every time you catch them. Because to them, lack of prosecution is an invitation. I caught one of them and he admitted to it verbally, but without a prior warning, its no more than a traffic ticket. He now has his warning. One of the others, in his 50's, thankfully spent most of the rut in jail because a warden stopped a group of them. All 5 got tickets, but the ringleader had outstanding warrants (failure to appear and parole violations). He had bragged to others that he had killed 15 bucks this season, mostly at night. He was also rumored to have a meth kitchen on my lease. I called the SD about this and the only response I got was "yeah, we've heard that too". I've also been told that they feel like they can do what they want on Sundays because they know we'll be at church.
My point is this: I ain't "stressing over a stupid deer, turkeys maybe." I'm to the age of enjoying managing the property more than the killing (again, except for turkeys). I do stress over having family members in the woods enjoying a perfectly legal activity and worrying if there is one or more armed drug users or manufacturers in the woods with them. To me, having to worry about this is no longer a "victimless" situation. Maybe my piddlers are different than yours.
And my game wardens have been great. Others LEO's, I'm not so impressed with.

Any man trespassing with a weapon better know the remainder of his breathes are at the owner’s discretion. Don’t be worried about no felony. Be worried about a landowner’s finger getting twitchy from your actions. Property ownership is a cornerstone of capitalism. Edit - Reminds me of Kostner in Yellowstone [video:youtube] https://youtu.be/LOrkILQmpRk[/video] This is America. We don’t share land here.

Victimless my ass. Do you realize the time money etc it takes to keep ones place nice and game attractive? Then some free loading asshole that’s butthurt cause another guy has better game on his place comes in over. Bullschit. Hang em high. I agree 100%. Make the penalty as high as it needs to be to stop it forever. I'm not talking about accidental crossing. I'm talking about folks like I have who get dropped off to poach my place so that their vehicle can't be seen, then steal stuff on their way out.

Think what fella meant in above post is forget the law... they ain’t gonna do what needs done just looking for money. Whip their @ and good ol country boy @ whippin he won’t have to worry to come back when he’s worked a week or two to pay a fine or a 30 day dump in county. I think that’s what’s wrong with a lot of crime going around. My daddy whipped my @ all over the yard for doing stupid stuff... didn’t do that stupid stuff when I thought bout that whippin

Heck this son of a B got his picture taking after coming around a locked gate. Pretty sure thats a good sign you aint wanted there. Is This you MARK? Heck you were supposed to PM me not post in the general forum. Let me ask you one thing...are you mad Bro..you mad?
