IMHO, you don't need high dollar hunting clothing for Alabama. I usually just wear good long johns and a shirt/pants. Sometimes a vest or light jacket. Good headwear is most important. I've had a Browning hydro parka for many years but haven't worn it in at least 6 years. I can stay warm enough with lighter clothing and less bulk. That's what Sitka is , light with less bulk. I know but I can achieve the same thing at 1/3 the price of Sitka.
