Yes, it's good clothing. Yes, it works.

It's pricey. You get what you pay for. If you wear cheap cotton socks you'll have sweaty, stinky cold feet. If you buy a cheap-ass jacket, it will leak and not insulate and you'll be cold. Do you need a $400 Sitka fleece jacket or coat? That's up to you. But it's warm and the stuff works.

It has an athletic cut so if you're a fatass, big boy, hefty, "need to lose a few" or "big boned" or otherwise wear 2X and 3X stuff you might not like it. I have a 2X hooded layering shirt and it's tight. But I wear it under other stuff so I don't care. It's all warm, the outerwear is darn good and warm, and if I'm hunting anything between Thanksgiving and February 15 I probably will have the fleece neck gaiter on or with me. That neck gaiter is about $30 and is worth every penny.
