Looks good if you are into a fashion show. It is made better than Kuiu. I have some of both.
I don't really understand why anyone would need either setup to hunt in Alabama. Everyone says less weight and bulk? Really? Are you hiking 20 miles both ways to your shooting house? When you get there you like freedom of movement so you can do a Jazzercise class on your Iphone mid-morning? Less bulk help your fat butt climb a tree?... maybe on to something there. Do you want to look like a sponsored TV host with a bunch of fluffy cool kid gear..... as you selfie film yourself blasting a doe? All good reasons to get some Sitka.
Lightweight hiking clothes are not necessarily durable. "They" claim they are but the are not. Kuiu is not very durable at all. Sitka is a little more substantial and in my opinion better made. I want some weight because with weight comes durability.
I totally feel the opposite and I have a lot of the big 3s gear. I wear kuiu year round (weekly) and it's held up every bit as good as Sitkas stuff. I bike and hike several miles per week and trap a lot in my Teton pants. The Kuiu 2 way stretch pants will outlast the Kuiu, Sitka, and First Lite 4 way stretch gear all day long. I just got a new First Lite piece that's gonna be great in September.
