That is awesome! Baker has yet to get his first, beginning to wonder if it will ever happen for us! He has hunted hard and this is his 2nd year! Congrats on your son's first bird, I know you are as proud as he is! Tell Baker to hang in there; he will get one. He still has plenty of time. I have to admit that I was surprised to hear he has not killed one yet with the turkey killer genes he has. Good luck!

CONGRATS, I couldn't get my son up this morning, so I had to go solo. That is the one problem I do not have with my son. If he is not in school and I go hunting/scouting he is right there with me unless he is in trouble with his mother. I asked him if he was ready to call it a season since he finally killed one and he said, "No, I still have 4 more I can kill this year."
