It is about time to test all politicians as to whether they are swamp creatures or not. throw them in the swamp. if they swim out then shoot them as traitiorous swamp creatures. If they drown, they were politicians and deserved it but they were not swamp creatures.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

It's not even remotely in question. Biden has to look for someone with broader appeal that can help him in the center part of the country and swing states. I still think they may end up giving Moochelle Obama the nod, if "he" is willing to take it (he's real busy right now raking in all the payoffs and cash payments and collecting on all the favors from their previous 2 terms). If he did take it, he would then name his muslim hubby his VP and be off and running again.

obama cant run as vice president after being twice elected president.

If Moochelle ran with Biden as her VP, then Biden was forced to step down, day one of the new presidency, for health reasons, I thought that Moochelle could then appoint Biden's successor as VP, in which case, the prohibition against running would not apply. Could be wrong on that as I havent really looked hard into researching it.

12th ammendment says if not eligible to be president cant serve as vice president. Most interpret that as making him ineligible.

Never will happen Y'all are on crack if you think after 40 years Biden is going to pick Obama's wife and then resign so she could become president, which is what would happen via the succession route.

The VP doesn't just get to pick who becomes president. There's a set chain of succession: President, VP, Speaker of the House, President Pro Tem-Senate and then into SecState and the Cabinet on down.

It will probably be a brokered convention due to Biden's obvious dementia and increasing frailty.

Cuomo and Hitlary are the most likely beneficiaries.

The democrats started a movement in 2009 to change the presidential succession. They want the secretary of state to become third in line.
If biden/Cuomo happen to get the nomination, look for this to become the new hot topic. They are posturing to put Hillary in the white house by any means necessary.

Just think if they would’ve prosecuted Hillary we wouldn’t even be discussing this. I stills don’t understand why she is still a free beast.

If they do a brokered convention don't seeing it being Hillary. She's already been beaten twice. Trump beat her and will do it again. They need new blood , but don't have any that isn't a extreme left loon that moderate Dems and swing voters wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole. A brokered convention will piss off a bunch of Dem voters that will stay home. Dems have big problems.

The Clinton Foundation loaned/gave vasts sums to the DNC last cycle when they were broke. They owe her. I stand by my prediction so far.

I never said Trump would not beat her. To be clear, I said that Hillary will be the D. Presidential Candidate on the ticket.

Clem is right on this. A presidential nominee gets to pick their running mate as VP, but once in office, if the office of VP comes open, then the line of succession takes place. Gerald Ford says "look at me please".

A very good discussion with some well thought out reasoning, but if I had to lay money down, it would be on Clem's pick.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
