My dad owns the company with me. He just happens to be the first person to call on the call list with TCI....not the cops.

If he was actually concerned about my property being broken in to he wouldn't have been so late arriving on the scene and he would have driven in quicker.

I can’t help you on arrival time but if it’s like everywhere else everybody is extremely short handed. You didn’t have to give him your I.D. But you should have been at least able to give him your name. Not everybody has I.D. Heck, I’ve dealt with folks that aren’t even in the system . Check out article 15-5-30. It’s in reference to “Terry Stops” and it should answer your question.

And that has what to do with this. Unless your telling me that the security company, notified dispatch that the key holder was there and the alarm was an accident, and dispatch called and 10 -25 him, and he did it anyway. He is dickhead, but if that didn't happen ,I guess I am a dickhead because I am not agreeing with you, just like the officer

There are 21k reported folks in oxford. Per oxford police department page there are 70 officers. That includes detectives , swat and whoever else. To break that off even more you have several shifts. No BS, I’d be willing to say there’s about 8 to 12 officers that patrol your town on a given shift and that’s being lenient.

I feel the cop did his job. He doesn't know you being the owner, or someone waiting at the gate for his friend who stole something off your place.

You're being a big idiot, complaining for him asking for your ID and not believing you.
If he asked for a thief's ID and only took his word he was the owner, and let him go because of his word, you'd be upset as well.

You over reacted then and are still making a big deal out of nothing. Relax, he had no way of knowing who you were or why you were there, thus the ID check. No power trip, just doing his job.
