Buddy of mine has a 2000 Polaris Xplorer 4x4 four wheeler for sale. He is the original owner and has the title in hand. Very strong 2 stroke engine. Bike will run 60+mph. Chain drive in the rear, and shaft drive up front. Original factory tires still in good shape. Very slow leaks from a couple, but we're talking over the course of months...not days or even weeks. Cranks easily with either electric starter or pull rope. All plastic in great shape. Cheap Harbor Freight winch, but it works. Everything on the machine works except the speedometer/display. He said it worked a few months ago, but when he cranked it this week, it no longer works. Could just be a fuse...or not. New brake pads on the rear, and new calipers and pads on the front. He is sure it has less than 1500 miles on it. Seat is original with zero tears. He said it probably needs new CV boots up front, but isn't going to pull the oxguards to check...a $20 and some wrenching fix. I can vouch that it has had an easy life. $1200, located in Atmore area. He just bought a sxs utv, which is the only reason he's selling.

My only experience with two-stroke is that they are very loud but it was with an older machine that may have simply had no muffler or some such. How loud is this compared to typical 4-cycle?
