Some one is gonna have to shut down rioters and make an example out of them eventually. Freaking ridiculous arrest them by the hundreds, increase the fines and jail time. Criminal reform needs to happen, stiffer/harsher penalties for criminal acts.
How do you propose to do that when they overran, looted and burned a Target, Cub foods, shopping village and police station in less than 24 hours?
To even try to start would involve use of riot vehicles, dogs, water hoses and heavy artillery either lethal or non-lethal. Minneapolis or any city does not want to become 1960s Birmingham again, and that's what it would be.
Allowing all the rioting to go on sucks, definitely. But what's your plan to shut down thousands of furious rioters who if they could get their hands on an officer would beat him to death?
