You have to be willing to suffer the same pain youre trying to inflict on others. Thats an upper level kind of mean. I like it. Outback might know. Most common folk would be too afraid th screw with hornets.

Where are we getting these hornets from, to have to place them into the small jar?

If you can find yellow jackets in a nest in the ground, you’ll be better off.
My late grandfather told a funny story about breaking up a “brush arbor” meeting as a wayward lad with a jar full of yellow jackets.

“Killing tomorrow’s trophies today.”

On the distance I like to walk to my stands:
“The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”

Rub your hands in your armpit before you shake the hornet nest to fill the jars

Yep the old folks know that if you shake the nest real good it disorients them for about 15 minutes giving you plenty of time to fill your jar.

Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

I was all ready to do SHTF stuff till he said shake a hornets nest. That’s when I heard my momma calling my name.

I have yellow jacket nest I was thinking about dealing with tonight. I reckon you could figure out a way with a shop vac and some redneck engineering. Let me know if you want them.

I have bagged hornet's nests at night. Just make sure your light isn't very bright, or they will wake up.

Do that, then all you have to do is get them from the bag into the jars. I'd probably just toss the bag and untie the knot string when it landed.

OK, I'll bite. Why are you trying to catch them?

You could rent a vacuum truck and suck the whole nest up in about 1 second.

Honeybees.

Using smoke for bees helps in clogging up the smells triggering attack mode.
Wonder how it works with hornets?

I'm not trying though.
