Folks on this site appreciate somebody doing what they say theyre going to do, especially when it comes to buying and selling. This is what is so good about the aldeer classifieds. You can do business and not worry about getting jacked around. Some feel like you jacked them around and left them hanging. Notice your name is now yellow. If youre gona do business around here you need to do a better job letting those who are interested in your stuff know whats going on. Before you cop an attitude with me, im just trying to catch you up.

You need to clear the air about the last transaction you had here.

Its very simple. All you had to do was say "I am sorry I sold the item to another member who texted me first, thank you for your interest" and ofcourse send in the 3%. Then you could likely move this item just as quick as the last one. Straight forward honest business goes a long way around here.

I’m fine with first guy with cash gets the item as long as you are up front with that concept. It gets really old when people say they want to buy something but never show up, or send you a text saying they changed their mind etc.

When I posted the rifle on here, I received about 10 calls and more PMs in the first hour or so. I was not expecting that much response, and it was hard to handle while also trying to work my job. I don’t remember names, but one person with an out of state phone number that I almost didn’t answer thinking it was a scam called me and asked if I could hold the rifle for a day or 2. I was straight forward in saying that I couldn’t do that, and I asked if he could meet that day. He said yes and said to call him when I was ready. When I called he didn’t answer. But I got a text a little later saying something about a guy working on AC or plumbing or something on his house but he could meet the next day. I never made any commitment for the next day, and I don’t know why this person took off work. I would never have committed to the next day because I had to work. In my experience when people ask you to hold things for them they usually don’t show up, then all the 15 other people interested are pissed off because your holding for a stranger you’ve never met. Then you don’t ever sell it. On top of that I felt like I was getting jerked around at this point and didn’t want to keep talking to this person.

Right after I get that text back I answered 2 other calls for it, one right after the other. One person said he was trying to find someone to meet me later that day. Another said he was 10 minutes from where I was and could meet me with cash. I’m sure the person that said he was finding someone to meet me might have been serious. But I don’t know and I talked to both around the same time. I did tell the other person that I had sold it to someone nearby. I also let everybody else who texted and called that I could that it was sold. I feel that in this situation I made the right decision.

I’m not a dealer, I’m not making money I was just trying to sell the rifle so I can buy a different one that I liked better. Please don’t associate the person I sold the rifle to with what you think is lack of integrity or wrongdoing on my part. I don’t think you will anyway because he makes a lot of transactions and I’m sure has a great reputation already.

I didn’t even know everyone was angry on here. A friend on mine wanted to sell a pistol and didn’t have a profile so I let him log onto mine and said I’m sure you will get more calls then you want to try to sort through good luck. Please don’t associate him with this either.

All that said the rifle I sold was unfired and in perfect condition as described. I did not lead on anyone and I tried to be as straightforward and fair as I could. I am a person of integrity and I don’t appreciate people that don’t know me saying that I’m not. I did neglect to pay the 3%. Last time I was one here which was a long time ago we couldn’t make the donation because PayPal dropped the site because they are anti gun as I understood it. I didn’t realize that was resolved and I should have seen the new payment button. I just payed the 3%. Don’t worry about me trying to sell anything else on here. I’m not much of an internet guy anyway. If someone who has administrative right can delete my account I’d appreciate it. I’m sure more will be said and I’m not going to keep on and on so I will be logging off either way. I wish the best for everybody.
