Try getting shot down in one, not an experience i will soon forget, Iraq 2008. We all survived crew and 7 passagers but boy was that scary as HELL. We have a winner! Yeah I'll bet that got the ol ticker running. I was riding in a Ch53 one night, inbound to AQ, when we took several rounds of small arms fire. We circled and the door gunners returned fire. That was a tense couple of minutes. 👍
