As you know, I was an instructor in everything, Firearms, SSGT, PPCT, Pepper Sorry etc . My point is the officer was not killed when he was tased in training obviously I personally believe that the officer that shot will probably not to be the officer that had the taser taken from him and he thought the suspect had his partners weapon. Just my opinion, shooting because of taser and he knew it was a taser may not fly. I saw what Atlanta mayor said. I have spoken to more than a couple officers former instructors, who see deadly force over the taser as problematic, with another officer there. By himself he could articulate , if I am stunned the suspect can get my duty weapon and shoot me. He can still articulate that , just think it will be problematic. Ferguson officer was helped by the fact that he was alone.
