Cordless = DeWalt
Corded = Milwaukee

Can’t beat those either.

I'm usually not one to go for snap on or matco but if you're going for cordless impacts they are worth it if you're going to use them for work. My guys smoked a couple 1/2 milwaukees switch back to snap on and matco and been good to go ever since. That being said my son has a 1/2 dewalt that done him well but he is a pipe welder and only uses it on certain jobs he helps tear downs and re assembly on pipe flanges.

This!! Lots of power and can take abuse. I have Dewalt 20 volt also but if Milwaukee is close by I always use it over Dewalt.

I use Ridgid and when I tear them up, I send them back to get replaced.

I use Milwaukee, Dewalt and Ryobi almost on a daily basis. I have a ton of Ryobi stuff at home, Dewalt and Milwaukee at work. Ryobi will work for the average guy, their drills seem to weigh 5lbs more tho. The saws and stuff are hard to set up. We are phasing our Dewalt at work and moving strictly to Milwaukee. Their 18 volt batteries will outlast Dewalts 20V. They tend to last us longer as well. I plan to get rid of all my green tools and gradually work over to milwaukee at home.

I’ve used both over the years and can say you won’t go wrong with DeWalt or Milwaukee

I would’ve said dewalt but after recent interactions with dewalts customer service and lack of properly fixing a 1 month old 1/4 drive impact. Unfortunately I’m too deep in to dewalt make a full switch over.

so you saw better battery life out of the Milwaukees?

I apologize for just now getting back to you. But yes as others have said as well, I saw better battery life and better performance in Milwaukee. I still own my Dewalt tools, some 20 volt and the old 18 volt, they're still good just the batteries don't last and I'm not buying anymore.
