Any churches near Alabaster / Calera that aren’t celebrity / Hollywood looking clones near? Any that has passion for the Bible preached in biblical context speaking much on Jesus name and not the pastors name nor the church’s name. There's one at the stockyard in Clanton but I've never been.

Not a cowboy church, but I can recommend one where expository preaching is the norm and you will hear
the entire Bible correctly exegeted.

I recommend Calera Baptist. My brother pastors there and is a great speaker that teaches "the Bible" and doesn't try to conform to popular teachings (making people feel good about everything instead of telling them like it is). You can view the services on youtube and see what you think. I go to Metro church on I-459 and have been for around 20 years so I'm sure you know how I feel there.  I will pm you his cell if you would like to speak with him. He's always fine with people asking him his beliefs and discuss issues at hand. He's 49 years old and has his doctorate through the Baptist Seminary. He's the educated idiot. I'm just the idiot.
