I've never traveled outside of the USA. Yet.

But for here the most remote place is probably on a backpacking trip 5 days deep into an 8 day trip in the Cranberry Wilderness portion of the Monongahela National Forest in West Virginia. I never saw another person until day 7 on the circle back to the trailhead.

2nd would be the Appalachian Trail because it felt remote although a person could probably find a farm or little town within a day if they took off.

San Juan wilderness in Colorado. It's where I learned panning for gold really doesn't pay all that well! But a week away from civilization was worth every penny.

Wyoming. We camped one time at the end of a 43 mile dirt road. I climbed a mountain near our camp and watched until after dark. Couldn't see any lights except our campsite in any direction.
