My place would be on the other side the Selkirk mountains. Northern Idaho at the Canadian border. I think they called it Saddle Pass. It was north of Bonner’s Ferry Idaho.

My uncle purchased a house in Murphy last year, and retired there this year. Haven't been able to visit yet with all the bull going on...

In the 70's we had to cruise a big tract of timber in the Tate's Hell swamp north of Port St. Joe, Fl. Desolate, not even any birds in there.

The night sky in Western Iraq was amazing too. It was so clear you could see constellations that are rarely visible in North America.
Sometimes I would watch the sky for hours and almost forget that I was in hell.

I noticed that too. Very rare to see a plane, people don't even fly over that place .

Saw a helicopter a couple times. Guide said they look for forest fires. We flew as far as we could. Then drove as far as we could. Then took a 2 hour boat ride.
