I don't know if it's considered remote, but it is desolate.....FOB Frontenac Afghanistan, and Camp Beuhring, Kuwait

My dad said the ASau valley was pretty remote, but it was too damn crowded.

Desolate not remote. I drove by a job fair in Ensley one time. No you didn't. That activity never took place in Ensley.
Get the F out of the BATFE. The F is guaranteed by the US Constitution. Those other letters are not.

In Idaho, near the Frank Church River of No Return wilderness area on an elk hunt. Brightest sky of stars I’ve ever seen, and eerie quiet.
Frank Church Wilderness for me too.

I caught a cutthroat trout in wind river canyon. Ten Sleep, Wyoming is my place. Nearest Walmart over 100 miles away.

Been to several of these places.
I think the frank church/selway Bitterroot wilderness is my vote. I was dropped off on an air strip and picked up 8 days later. That's social distancing in the largest contiguous wilderness in the lower 48.
I know that Alaska beats it down, but haven't made that trip yet.

Union Pass Trail between Dubois, Wyoming and Pinedale, Wyoming on the West side of the Wind River Range...Several areas we went in the Greater Yellowstone area were very remote. Death Valley is another place I have been that was very remote.
