Watching hurricane coverage and they just updated on the riots. They identified the officer who shot the Blake guy, giving his name, then also said the young man involved in the shootings Tuesday night has been charged with two counts of 1st degree murder. Need to confirm that but that is what was reported. That is correct, the news reported it as "1st Degree Homicide"..........with all the video showing that THEY were pursuing HIM, that THEY attacked HIM and that he fired in self defense, it ought to be an open/shut case.....but I wouldn't bank on anything in this day and age.

Notice that NONE of them are black? This is not a race war. They are taking advantage of a situation. This is a war against total anarchy. The irony is that at this point, the rule of law is the only thing keeping them safe. Read history of most wars and they started off with small skirmishes like this. BINGO. Do you know Wisconsin law on this? It will be the state that decides this. Can't open carry in Wisconsin until 18 years or older, unless you have a guardian. So someone would have to come forward and state that. There is also a provision in Wisconsin law about open carry and participating in violent demonstrations. Secondly, Rittenhouse was an Illinois resident. It was illegal for him to leave his Illinois home with a firearm because he did not have a Illinois FOID (Firearm Owners Identification card) which are not issued until you reach 21 years of age. So that makes two possible illegal acts he committed. Then there is how did he obtain that weapon? Whomever supplied him with or negligently allowed him access to that weapon will likely have to answer for that as well. In Texas you are required to have 15 hours of classroom instruction as one part of receiving your conceal carry permit. In the class they tell you to make darn sure you know the laws of any state you plan to travel through if you are armed.

Is it not legal to have an unloaded long gun on your back seat in Illinois? Either way, the kid deserves a medal....not prison.
