I've talked with several guides and outfitters on my trips out west. Every one of them says they enjoy hosting hunters from the SE.
They will tell you that anyone who hunts the southeastern US successfully and consistently can easily do a western big game hunt with little assistance. They love Hillbillies who can shoot too.
