That one bothers me too......and I certainly don't mean any disrespect to doctors/nurses and hope it doesn't come off that way, but that's not what I would call a Hero.

Randy Shughart and Gary Gordon were heros. Bridger Walker is a hero. The police and firefighters that ran into the twin towers knowing good and well there was a good chance they weren't coming out were heros. I hate that the phrase has been cheapened.
