If we could condition ourselves to that every time we would probably see more deer.
On properties that I familiar with, I tend to overthink my strategy, trying to put the deer where I want them to be moreso than putting myself where they are.

When I'm not familiar with a place, I will walk into the wind, along some defining terrain feature, until I find good sign ... and there I hunt.
