How far below Tuscaloosa is Lock 15? I hope he makes it to his destination. RIP Lock 15 is on Holt Lake in Tuscaloosa county, but still a good ways north of the city of Tuscaloosa. I don't know where he was dropped off, but he ain't made it too far. There's still 3 (I think) more locks/dams to get through.

Thats the only way he is gonna get near the gulf

I found a gofundme about the guy and in the updates they stated they put the capsule in on Monday (the 21st). They didn’t say where they started though.

Well technically it’s called littering, but to each his own. I guess when they put your ass in the ground and put a big rock at your head ,and put flowers on your grave its not the same thing. Waiting on a response Lonster
There is 2 different high fence. 1 small and one big! Mine was free range in the big pen and was not a breeder buck. Why does it have to be twisted around??

Waiting on a response Lonster Not the same at all. Folks are buried in cemeteries that are designed for headstones and flower decorations. What you found was floating debris which was tossed into a navigable stream, by you, since you took possession then placed it in the middle of the river. Who knows, maybe the next person that does this will just place grandpas body in his favorite bass boat and cut him loose to “drift to the Gulf”. What is the size limit on the floating memorial/urn that one is allowed to “release” into a stream? It sure would piss me off to hit ole Billy Bob’s urn with my prop or my sidescan transducer.
