Was pulling out of a very tight parking lot and clipped the edge of some concrete with my front tire. Took a chunk out of the sidewall smaller than a penny. How concerned should I be about driving on it?

obviously it depends on how deep the chunk was.....the safe answer is that any damage can weaken the sidewall. with that said, I did the same thing several years back and took out a chunk about the size of a quarter. it wasn't especially deep and I drove on it for several months with no issue.

If you can see any of the nylon cord then replace it. If not just drive it and keep an eye on it. ^^^^^ A lot of today's tires have a "rim protector" if you can't see nylon, should be good

If you can see any of the nylon cord then replace it. If not just drive it and keep an eye on it. No nylon cord. Just rubber. Thanks for the info

I'm hopping curbs all the time in my work truck. I took a chunk out of a back outside tire just after I got it. That tire is Damn near $300. It's gonna ride like that for a while. I still have an inside tire.
What you do today, you have to sleep with tonight.
