The new Maxxis is awesome!
LMAO - why do you Hoyt boys have to buy a new bow each year?????

The Switchback and Switchback XT are the most impressive hunting bows Mathews has ever built IMO. I've shot everything they've built since - including the Z7 this wkend and still feel the same way.

However...I did just get a new bow last week. After months of shooting every model of every brand I could get my hands on I bought an Elite GT500. I haven't shot the Maxxis, but the Alphamax (35) would've been my second choice. I felt like behind Hoyt and Elite there was about a 9-way tie for a distant 3rd.
