I would suggest for future years getting another rifle for the exact reason you posted. Maybe more of chance in having a different caliber in stock even at the last minute. In years past before Obama took office there was never a shortage on 30-30 ammo. For some reason since then all ammo has skyrocketed and them damn dems in states like California want to take our guns away! At one time Bass Pro shops before Obama took office had 30-30 ammo for $8.99 a box and plenty of it up until Christmas on sale. Now it is almost $30 a box and sold out! Our country is going to hell and hand basket in no time right this proves it.
