I won't be at the front of the line but, I'll take the vaccine. I have changed my routine and that of my business to try and protect myself, my family, my employees , and customers. The vaccine will simply add another layer of protection for at least some of those and hopefully allow us to get back to business as usual So you're going to force your employees to take a dangerous drug? Nope. That's why I said "Some" of those people. Myself and Family will get the vaccine eventually. The fact that our risk to contract it will be reduced, will provide some downstream protection for those others. And we don't know if it's a "dangerous" vaccine yet. That's why I won't be 1st in line.

It's sad, but this is how people have reacted to EVERY new drug, vaccination and medical advancements thru time. People laughed when doctors said it was important to wash their hands, boil water. Things we do all the time now because they are accepted. I won't be the first, but I will take it. I'm in a high risk group. I'm over 65, cancer patient and friends with Outback , James and Hevi. So yes, thats high risk ! For the record, I've had my flu shot and shingles vaccination too !

Would I take a vaccine that has only been in development for a few months for a virus they can't even know for sure how it's transmitted? A vaccine that they are bringing to market in about a fifth of the time normally required for R&D and only in clinical trials for a fraction of the time of a normal vaccine? Sure! What could go wrong? Our government loves us and just wants what's best for us. Just ask the Indians or the test subjects from Tuskegee. Just show me where the line starts because I'm pumped to get my immunity!

I wouldn’t blame anyone who wanted to be at the front of the line to take it. Also wouldn’t blame anyone who said them and theirs would never take it. Like most things, it’s an individual, personal decision, and this is still AMERICA!!

We may not have a choice. Wife was telling me on way to church about reading you’d have to have a vaccination “certificate” or card or whatever to get into a lot of places. Not saying it’s right. Just saying.

I dang sure won't be the first in line to take it, but there have been vaccination record requirements for kids going to school K-12, for college and those in the military for years, so wanting individuals to provide proof of vaccination to enter some facilities would not be a huge leap to me.
I suspect that most schools (all levels) and lots of employers will require it eventually, if not immediately, in addition to all healthcare/first responder folks.

I won't take it. I don't take the flu shot either. I work in healthcare and during flu season I have to wear a mask when in 6' of a patient. Since Covid came along I have to wear one all the time so I'm use to it at work now. If they require the Covid shot then I guess I'll quit. I've quit jobs before and moved along to learning new things. Might go back to Electrical if I have to.

I've taken the full shot for years .
I'll take the covid. Just got to figure out which one will be best for me. Looks like there may three or four I got no argument with anyone who CHOOSES to get the vaccine. The idea of forcing it on people makes my blood boil.
