If you plan to do gun work, you need to research before you buy. Things like an outboard spider and 1.5" spindle bore - or larger - are a big plus There are two types of gun enthusiasts ... Those who have been F#CKED by PTG and those who will be! ~ unknown

I picked up a Sebastian treadle benchtop 24" lathe for $75. It has been a fun project to restore/modify.
