What’s y’all’s daily utility whiskey or bourbon? I am a wild turkey 101 guy, I’ll try others.... but for some reason or another, I always end up back with the 101.
Y’all got any good whiskey you drink routinely or found some new candidates that I can give as gifts.
I Well, the way I see it is there's just too many assholes On a good day there's a bunch of assholes in here. On a bad day there's too many assholes in here.

WT101 or Old Forrester for inexpensive everyday bourbon.
While in Memphis last week I went to the Navy Base exchange with my cousin and got a handle of Elijah Craig, and a fifth of Woodford and a fifth of Eagle Rare all for $80. I’m set for a while.

Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey Longbranch, WT101 and the Elijah Craig Small Batch are my go to's. I'm starting to branch out a bit as well but its hard to beat that wild turkey 101.

Weller used to be until it got up to over $35 a bottle at my favorite liquor store. I still drink it. Wild Turkey 101 is hard to beat. Love the high rye. Four Roses is a good one too, although I like the Barrel Select better than even the Single Barrel. Chattanooga Whiskey is mighty good. One of my favorites and I like the fact that they are semi local. John Emerald is not for everyone because of the smokiness, but I like it for special occasions. Buffalo Trace is good, but for whatever reason I just don't buy it all that much. Old Tub is a newer favorite. Old Granddad "Bottled in Bond" is good when you can find it and still reasonable. Jim Beam "Bottled in Bond" is very good too. And finally a low end Bourbon that is surprisingly good is Very Old Barton... Weller used to be a low end bourbon until every SOB "discovered" it. I used to get it for $15 a bottle.

Buffalo trace is the most awful swil I ever choked down. I've had $2 back door rotgut that was better. Crown Royal is my daily drink.

I like beam but since I'm a tight wad I drink kentucky tavern. I actually do like it. Now if someone wants to make a donation I prefer Knob Creek.

I didn’t know Russels was wild turkey until the other day (I’m new to this). I’ve been on a Rye kick here lately. WT Rye, Willett, Rittenhouse, but the 1792 small batch I got the other day is fine... I’ve also been trying some Irish whiskey, monkey shoulder is really good. I have a Whistle Pig Rye coming from a buddy later this week, just a 6 year. We shall see... Old grandad bonded and OG114 is pretty good. For the money, 1792 and wild turkey is hard to beat.

Four Roses yellow label is hard to beat for the money. Here lately I’ve been drinking a good bit of Basil Hayden since my local shop started selling it in the 1.75L bottles.
