Several have been asking for the story, and as you can imagine it’s been quite a whirlwind. To say the least God is good and I just happened to be the guy in the stand that morning the Lord sent him by. Humbled and overwhelmed. The full story details will be on Suburban Outfitters YouTube (go ahead and subscribe) but I don’t know how soon. I’ve got tons of footage and 3 seasons history with this deer. The morning of the hunt footage is amazing and can’t wait for y’all to see it! Everyone has been so kind and I wish we could throw it up, but I believe a deer like this deserves the best! I will say this, he was NOT a high fence (not that I wouldn’t harvest one if given the opportunity), he was in a populated suburban area but he was NOT a backyard buck (not that I wouldn’t go there If he was...lol). He had big woods that’s all imma say about that 🤫. For those that care about score... 199 4/8” gross 186 6/8” net typical The whole record thing is very confusing and navigating these waters has been an adventure for sure, but that said, as of now this is how he lands.. State of Alabama bow and arrow: #1 all time Buckmasters #2 all time Alabama Whitetail Records typical #5 all time Alabama Whitetail Records non typical Pope and Young will score different after 60 day drying period but from what I understand won’t lose much.
