Too many, really too many. My ability to make bad gun trades/deals at one time was legendary. In my defense there was no internet or - well - never mind.

I sold the first rifle my dad gave me a Rem Model 7 7mm-08 to buy a .223 when I was 18 because I wanted a "truck gun". My dad gave me that gun when I was 9 years old and he died when I was 12. I sold it to a family friend but before I got old enough to realize what I had done he had traded the gun off for another gun. I try not to think about that dumb decision especially now that I have a 3yr old little boy and another boy on the way.

Two Remington model 1100 in .410 gauge. Actually sold both that I had at one time. Biggest blunder I ever made.

Coupla Colt 1911's one stainless other blue. I try not to think about it. If I have a defense it's I know I'm not alone in gundeals gone wrong.

I have a really bad habit, or good habit which ever way you want to look at it. I’ve not sold a SINGLE firearm I’ve bought or was given in 24 years. If I want something different I save and go buy it.

I have gotten rid of very few guns over the years and only regret one. It was a Remington 788 with an old Tasco World Class on it (The really cheap one back in the late 70's early 80's) .243. Plain jane as they come. It would shoot 3/4" groups at a 100 with about any ammo you fed it. I just was not a 243 fan and traded it for something or other. I'd still love to have it back.

My Remington 1100. I always wanted a O/U and I used the 1100 as part of the trade. The next one would be my lever action in .357. It was my pig killer and pistol round as well. I only had to carry one caliber while hunting them. I used it as trade for my first AR15.

My parents gave me a 1894 Winchester 30-30's for Christmas when I was in middle school. Couple years later I got a "real deer rifle" and I traded the 30-30 for 2 reel and rod combos. I regret that on sooo many levels. Stupid teenage me.

Yes sir. It's a lesson learned. Never give anything to a teenager.

That was me as well @18. I traded off that 760 Pump for a Norinco SKS in 2003! The Pawn man smiled and gladly offered straight up trade. I was tickled pink with my new “assault rifle” until I saw the look in my father’s eyes. 😔.

I sold a 60's model 700 BDL in 6mm bull barrell when I was young and dumb trying to get a duck gun. I regret it just about every year when gun season comes around.

Walmart savage 110 in 30-06 with whatever cheap scope they come with. Guy owed me money and traded the gun to settle. I carried it a few years and it fit just right, one of those guns when you brought it to your shoulder it was on at where you were looking. Never missed a deer with that gun. It actually go stolen, I didn’t get rid of it.

Finally deported myself from the peoples republik of Kaliforkistan.

Same here, but I've made it 40 years. I did have a pile of guns stolen from my home before I recognized the value of a safe. That has since been taken care of.

However, I did pick up a Winchester 1400 the other day that I intend to gift to a young man fairly soon.
