Don't Z71's come factory with Bilsteins? Seems like I've heard that, but don't know if it's true.

I’ve had several sets of bilsteins on several different trucks. All of those were much better than factory. I just had some foxes put on my F250 and I can’t tell if they are better than Bilsteins.

Ranchos come stock on them.

Hop up on the bumper, get to bouncing up and down and hop off, it the truck stops bouncing you dont need shocks, if it keeps rocking for a bit, you need new ones. That's my test procedure, anyway.

Super easy DIY job. Back shocks very easy. Front is usually struts and a little more complicated but still pretty simple

No, they come with Rancho from the factory.
From what I have read the aftermarket Rachos are better than what come from the factory on a new Z71

They use to Fur. Back in the 90's that was one of the "upgrades" that stepping up to a Z-71 would get you.

Having Bilsteins on my Jeep, I would go with Rancho.

With Bilsteins not only do you feel the quarter you just ran over in the middle of the road, but you can tell if it's heads or tails.
