I was on the table when hurricane Ivan came through the Golden Triangle (Sept 16 or 17) and was released to shoot on Dec 19th and was shooting 12ga 3” duck shells on 20th. I had a SLAP Bankhardt procedure (deeper into the Lepsum in front) and was in a sling for a few weeks longer before rehab started, so depending on your procedure you could be back sooner. I’d go ahead and install a Limb Saver recoil pad on whatever you plan on shooting!

Contender pistol or large bore handgun from your "good side" promise you a .45 lc or .44 special (Not Magnum) @900 fps will slapdown any deer in bama and be mild.
Skinny is my EX.Alcohol was involved.

I had a torn rotator cuff, bicep tore in half and detached down into my arm, damaged bursa sack and bone spurs ground out. I didn't even attempt to shoot a gun for a solid year after surgery. It was also my dominant arm so I wasn't going to chance it. First range session I did have was very unpleasant.
In your darkest hour when the demons come, call on me brother and we'll fight them together.

Get you a .243. It’s sweet on the shooting end. Dr Adkison did Clinton’s knee.

On the distance I like to walk to my stands: “The first 100 yards is also the last 100 yards.”
