It wasn’t mine, but dad had bought a gun for me to use when I was younger. I wish I had it in my closet.

It wasn’t anything fancy, 30-06 Harrington and Richardson single shot with a nice laminate stock. I remember thinking that was the coolest damned gun I had ever seen. I haven’t looked for one, but would probably buy one if I happened to run across it.

Too many to count. Before all of mine were lost in the tragic canoe incident in 300 feet of water on Smith Lake, I went through a stage where I had to get rid of one or more to add a new one.

Some really cool stuff was in my collection for 2 weeks to two years. Killed some deer with some of them, enjoyed them all. Sad they are gone, but happy standing here with my slingshot and 6 ball bearings. Used 4 already this season, and have enough steel balls left to finish well.

I was very fortunate. My granddad told me that you never get rid of guns and it stuck. I’ve never let one go. I’m thankful for that advice. I know a couple guys who got hard up for money and pawned lots of their guns and never got them back.

I know the feeling all too well

20 gauge 870 pump I had as a teenager. I just had to trade it for a shiny new toy.

Remington 700 ADL in .30-06 with synthetic stock. It was a good shooter, dropping deer and pigs with authority. But I didn't like the blind magazine well.

I am 47 years old and the only gun that I have ever sold was a Remington 7400 that would jam up at the most inconvenient times. I have a safe full of guns that I haven’t shot in years but I won’t sell them because I know that I would regret it

I hear ya on that. There's a couple that haven't left my safe in years. However, I'm determined to downsize and have sold two so far this year (but bought a SIG 365 with the money, lol!!!)

Don't see one of those very often. They were light weight shotguns.

My regret is selling this one: Kimber Model 84 stainless in .308 Got it from flounderpounder on here, bought as a gun/scope combo. Kept the Swaro scope and sold the gun. A fine rifle, and it was a shooter. Buddy who has it now won't sell it back to me. He's happily killing deer with it, and poking fun at me for selling him such an accurate, sweet rifle every chance he gets.
