I was treated with a z pack, zinc, which I was already taking, along with vitamin D3, with a steroid shot. I had a relatively mild case, thank God! It was still aggravating. Taking the zinc, and D3, will help minimize the symptoms if you get it. The doc wouldn't give me the hydroxy with it. He said that it wasn't needed. I would have taken it had he prescribed it.

I knew this thread would open up the lighter side of all this. That's good.

I AM trying to take good care and nurture my immune system though.
Would seem to be cheap insurance.

Weight training 3x week.
Running the dirt roads in barefoot running shoes 3x week.
Eating healthy I mean Hearty.
Drinking Wild Turkey 101 as an disinfectant.
Drinking homemade Kefir to boost gut microbes.
Drinking a mixture of ACV, local honey, Cayenne, Pepper, Turmeric and Fresh Ginger daily to ward off evil spirits and anything else that gets past the Wild Turkey and the Kefir.

So far so good... I rarely wear a mask in public.

Theres alot of natural immune boosters one could introduce into their diet that wouldnt change their lifestyle at all. Free stuff too, you could gather as youre out scouting for deer sign or turkey hunting. The Lord gave us all we need to stay healthy and help our bodies fight off sickness when it does strike. Ignorance is killing alot of very intelligent people these days.

I have had the Chicom flu, caught it from my wife who is a RN and worked the Rona floor. When she came down it was just a matter of time till I did. Living in the same house with an infected person seems to increase yer chances of getting it shocked

There will be lots of folks that don't get it for whatever reason.

Here’s what my internal medicine guy recommended:

4,000 units of D3
30Mg of Zinc
250Mg of Quercetin
500Mg of Vitamin C

He recommended taking this daily along with eating right and exercise. He indicated that masks were essentially worthless outside of a clinical setting and only wore one to keep the nurses in his office from bitching at him. All of the things listed are clinically proven prophylactics against Corona viruses. He has been frustrated that these simple preventive measures haven’t been touted in the media which has been more focused on testing and treating instead of prevention.

... that's why I started this thread. I believe there are ways to fight rather than surrender.
Quercetin ? Gotta look that one up. Thanks. The Q is quinine I bet.

Real food as much as possible, Airborne gummies, ACV. Other than that just normal every day life. I've been doing this long before Covid.
