We are no Bama no doubt - hav frat respect for what Bama has done - but we are 12th Nationally in all time wins - were recognized in 83 and 04 by publications and could easily claim those if w choose to among other years I could mention and Bama has its worst winning percentage among SEC teams all time against us - they win just over 55% Of the time against us - they hav higher all time Win percentages against other SEC teams and while we are no mighty Bama - we hav kicked a lot of tail over the years with more wins than big time programs like GA - TN and A&M Among others
Yea - we aren’t y’all - and y’all come down on us pretty hard - I understand why - Because we hav been the biggest thorn in y’all side and we ain’t goin nowhere It's a respectable rivalry, TDog. Much better than many other so-called "rivalries" in college football. But, we weren't really discussing Bama vs Auburn...it was Bryant vs Dye, which I personally don't feel like there's much comparison there, but maybe most of you Auburn fans are like Orion and feel differently.

I love the rivalry - glad I grew up in it - tremendous respect for Dye - love him - he was our Bear - Did so much for AU Beyond wins
I only know of one Bear - always remember that old Deep gruff voice - lot of respect for him - of course I wanted to beat him - but I respected him. Dye had a lot of Bear in him.
Everybody raves about Saban and I respect Him - awesome recruiter is his best strength - Prob best coach in the game today - but there has only been 1 Bear and we ain’t seen another one like him. It would hav been good for the game to see more Dye - Bear - but Bear was on his way out
I actually like it when both teams are Ranked in top 10 when we play - means more and just makes The State look good

HunterBuck, While we’re reminiscing, let’s not overlook the fact that ole Bahr Bryant himself didn’t have a winning record against Dye. Pretty sure he went out a loser in his last one against AU. Wanna continue??? Need to do sum fact checking bear didnt lose his last bama barn game

He lost to Auburn - then won his bowl - think it was Liberty Bowl then he retired - greatest coach I hav seen in my lifetime

Hopefully he keeps Steele around and brings a good QB with him... Everyone is a no name at some point in there career.. I’m just glad Malzahn is gone.. maybe No Nix leaves with Malzahn.. I refuse to call him Bo.. Steele is supposedly in talks with LSU right now.
