Feel free to flame away, but here goes-
I know more and more people who are getting sicker than they ever have in their life, and I know more and more people who have died from it. Wearing a mask is not about being scared of the virus or giving away your freedom, it's about having concern and protecting your fellow man. It's what Jesus would do.

There have been 10 times the COVID related deaths this year than flu deaths in a normal year. Just because you haven't gotten sick or know someone who has died a horrible death doesn't mean it's not real.

You know i'm not going to argue, but my BNLs dad died of pneumonia Tuesday (last Tuesday) he was tested for COVID 7 times and all 7 times he was negative, BUT on the day he died, they claimed he tested positive for COVID. Buncha of horschit...And yes i know some that has died from it, but strange thing is, they were in much better shape before they went to the hospital, Guess Ol' VENTILATORS put a lot of people in early graves this year...But y'all carry on........

If 2 masks work, i'll let you wear yours and mine. That way you'll be protected and i'll take responsibility for myself.

The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Believing the death numbers we are being brainwashed with is truly foolish. They originally said we would have 2.5 million dead by now.

No doubt in my mind that it’s a horrible virus. I know of this with personal experience in my circle of family and friends. But all that have had it, has it or damn near died from it all have recovered. The only thing that I question is how many people actually died from just Covid. And was the virus so bad that it had to destroy peoples lively hoods, our economy and a election with rampant corruption?

And the mask that you think will save us all I have yet to see any scientific evidence for that. The democrats say follow the science so where is it?

I don’t care if it’s the Black Plague, I’m not going to live my life in fear of something that has a 98% survival rate.

And it’s not coincidence this virus came about in an election year. That’s what folks should be marching on DC about. How would it make you feel to know you lost a loved one due to an intentional release of a virus by your government to unseat a US president?

Here is the bigger issue. While the death numbers may not be where they were forecast to be at the beginning of all this, currently there are so many people in the hospital with Covid that people with other issues are not able to be taken care of like they normally would be in years past.

If someone has a heart attack and the nearest hospitals are on diversion, well that certainly lessens that person's chance of a successful recovery while having to go to a facility further away. If one needs ICU for a non-covid issue, then good luck with an admission at a nearby facility.

They are, also, starting to cancel the more elective procedures and even the urgent ones that would require an overnight stay in the hospital.

Last September my father-in-law had a heart attack and was flown from the hospital in Andalusia up to Birmingham and they got him scheduled for a heart catheterization the next morning where they placed a couple of stents. He had to stay in CICU (cardiac intensive care unit) overnight and my mother-in-law and most of our family were were able to be up there to visit during the day and she was there all day. If this were to happen today, I don't know that he would even get seen based on the symptoms he had at presentation at the ER in Andalusia. Even if he did, there is no telling where he would have ended up being sent or whether any place would be able to do the necessary procedure because of the strict protocols after said procedure. That is the very scary thing right now to me.

And, if you do end up having to go to the hospital for something not related to Covid, I wonder how much your risk of getting it increases from the visit.

Y'all just be careful. No hold my beer and watch this type of thing. No one needs to make trip to the ER right now that could have been prevented simply by keeping safety in the forefront of your minds.

That's horse pucky. They told the truth when they first told everyone that masks didnt work. Buncha lying frackers about "wear masks to prevent it". If that was true cases would have never spiked. I'd bet that there was 75% or better mask compliance and Covid just continued to do its thing. The wear a mask BS was started because they needed something visual for people to see to keep Covid in the forefront so that they could take advantage of the opportunities it presented. My wife runs a medical office and her docs have said that the only reason they wear masks is to make the patients feel better. Unless it is a 100% sealed and fitted mask with smaller than N95 filtration, it isnt doing a dang thing other than virtue signaling. You want to protect yourself and others from Covid, you'd better be in a 100% sealed hazmat suit.

Go to CDC website, 2020 deaths in the US are vitrually identical to 2018 and 2019 as far as annual totals. Only difference is there are a ton more Covid deaths in 2020, and a ton less pneumonia, COPD, Heart, flu and any other major illness deaths. Yes people have died with Covid, but how many actually died from Covid, will never be known. Good news it that Covid has evidently made the US a whole lot healthier. If we can get rid of covid and keep the deaths from other causes where they are for 2020, we will reduce average annual US deaths by almost a full 15%. covid is real, not doubt. It was created in a lab and spread into the US and the rest of the world intentionally.

I’m not going to comment on masks, or their effectiveness. However, I can tell you that COVID is an absolutely horrible virus. Any decent person should try to protect themselves or others from it, whatever that may mean.

It could mean that those with health issues, old age and etc staying at home while anyone who wants to continue with everyday life, continuing. I’ll never understand locking down and forcing people who the virus isn’t badly effecting into these draconian lockdowns and mandates.

It’s simple, if you are worried about the virus effect on you, stay home. Nobody will judge or blame those people. We all understand that. These people walking around all these big box stores all day while wearing a mask and screaming for everyone else to also wear a mask because this is so “bad” blow my mind. They should just stay home.

The fool tells me his reasons; the wise man persuades me with my own.

Construction workers wear hard hats and steel toed boots. Doctors and nurses wear masks...Why wouldn't you wear one in crowded indoor spaces?!?

Don't wear crappy masks! N95s and KN95s are now widely available for reasonable prices. https://bonafidemasks.com/face-masks/
