Strictly my opinion here.
I'll say this. Everywhere I go, the store, work, gas station, no matter, No one and I mean not 1 single person is without a mask. Only place that I haven't seen a single mask is my hunting club. I don't know what the heck can be done to prevent the spread it but 100% of the people that I know who have contracted it have worn masks religiously. Don't tell me that masks work. I don't believe it. Like someone on here said, "Preventing COVID with a mask is like wearing jeans to keep a fart in." But what else can one do? We can social distance but I swear you're gonna find some hermit somewhere that hasn't been around a person in months who will test positive. (falsely probably though). And speaking of that, I just know there are waaaaay more false positives out there than being reported.
this virus is real and it can kill folks. even healthy ones. I wear my mask because I am up in folks faces a lot with what I do. I don't like it. I don't want the virus but I'm not sure about this vaccine either. How can the same vaccine prevent a virus that can manifest in presentation from absolutely zero symptoms to respiration arrest. I also saw my first patient yesterday who takes Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) lupus and caught it bad.
It's just such a crazy time and I just pray that neither me nor my loved ones catch it.
Dr. B Chances are high that you have already had it and didn't know it.

I’ve been exposed to the virus at least a dozen times and have not caught it. I’ve also been forced to be tested seven times, as well as checked for antibodies.. all negative results thankfully. A good friend of mine who is an older gentleman who has worked from home and has been a hermit, tested positive and got pretty sick. It doesn’t make any sense. Not even sure how he got it. Airborne particles will get through the n95 mask. Social distancing only works to a point. These airborne particles hang in the airf or a while, meaning someone infected could cough or sneeze 20 ft away from you and 30 seconds later you walk through that area only to breath in some of those particles. Only thing you can do is be a recluse.

Mom stayed with her 6 weeks. 1 week into her stay my aunt got covid as well as her kids that came to visit, who wore masks. This whole time my mom is living with her and taking care of her and waiting on her every need in close quarters all while neither of them wore a mask. Mom never got it and she tested 3 times after that. I dont know the ins and outs of covid, but I know a mask isn't going to keep me from spreading it or keep me from getting it. Its just common sense.

Lotta covid experts on here … Hope some of these selfish people never have to lose a loved 1 to this mess I'm hardly an expert but I've been immuno-suppressed for over 12 years now due to the medicine I take. I get sick easier and probably recover more slowly than most. Living a lifestyle that involves avoiding touching toilet flush handles, sink handles, doorknobs, gas pump handles, etc. is something that has kept me healthy.

Take this test if you think a mask works.
Get a cigarette, light it, place it between your lips, inhale deeply, place your mask over your nose/mouth, then exhale.
If you can’t see smoke going through your mask, it must work. If smoke does go through your mask, you should ask yourself if it really works.

I am on day 12 with the Covid. It has destroyed my Christmas, caused me to miss the peak of the rut, and has kept me feeling aweful during my favorite time of year! You don’t want this bug! However I can honestly say I don’t think a non-K95 mask helps.

The numbers can not be trusted and are built on lies. If not wearing a mask actually prevented transmission or contracting the virus, I would have caught it long ago.
No government can prevent the spread of this virus. Kalifornistan has had restrictions above and beyond most states, yet they're experiencing record numbers right now
I type this sitting in my truck waiting to get tested. I began feeling symptoms last night so it may be my turn.

Wash your hands, wipe your butt, keep your distance and don't lick windows.
The harder I practice, the luckier I get.

Only thing you can do is be a recluse. Consider yourself very blessed and fortunate. I go back to this, does anyone remember, "Stop, Duck and Cover," to help you get through a nuclear fallout at school? Fauchi, falsely claimed the number it would take to get vaccinated, because he thought in his wisdom Americans needed a lower number to make them feel better. It is the same with masks, it is something to make us feel better and to control us. These stupid little masks we wear aren't doing anything to help with this virus. If these masks worked, the militaries around the world would have been using it since chemical weapons first appeared on the battle field. I do wear my mask, one I don't want to have to get into a fight to go into a grocery store, two, I don't want to have to hurt one of these cry babies that will start something when I walk into a store (it just isn't worth my time, patience, christian witness, nor freedom), and last and the most important, I don't want to get in a huge fight with my wife and have to go without for a while. I can think of a lot more things than wearing a stupid mask for a few minutes that would keep me from fun with the wifie!!!!!!!! You people that swear by these masks, let's go to base and put you in the box, "Even the brave cry here." Let's see how long your mask that you think is protecting you actually helps. We will light it up and let you find out what that piece of fabric is doing. Anyone care to put on that mask and walk around the "box" for 5-10 minutes like you do in Walmart?
