You should see people’s response when I tell them a N95 is a construction grade mask meant to prevent dust particles, silica etc. And these guys you see wearing mask with full beards that hold them 2” off their face are clueless as well.

Not true, a N95 filters out particles .5 microns and larger. While the virus itself is .1 - .5 microns, the droplets it's carried in are 5-10 microns in size. The only accurate part in the above quotes are fitting of the masks are critical.

And if the rules was not put in place we might have. That is why those rules was put there.

Let me ask this. Covid is here to stay. It ain't going away. You people gonna wear a mask for the rest of your life? When will you mask users stop wearing one? What will make you stop wearing one?

Late spring / early summer once we’ve reached herd immunity through infection and vaccination. Also once my elderly and immuno-compromised family members are offered a vaccine. This raging fire will go out soon. Just have to make it through to the other side.

I'm interested in hearing their answer to this as well. Just because there is a vaccine now doesn't mean its going away either. I dont even know if said vaccine works anyways. After my experience with flu vaccines, I'm not the type of person that just signs up for a vaccine anyways.

So at what point do you stop wearing a mask? Or do you?

To get immunity you have to be exposed. If wearing masks works so great as some say, how you get immunity? And hell no, I'll never get the the vaccine nor will I wear a mask

For estimating, By the summer, 25-30% of the population may have recovered from covid. Another 15-30% may have the vaccine. The virus will run out of fuel.

So far, it looks like reinfection is rare once you’ve recovered from covid, at least for the 9 months we’ve known of the virus. Scientists don’t know how durable the immunity from infection or vaccination yet.

IMHO, the rules that were put in place have put us in a worse position today. I believe that we would have been better off dealIng with the rising number of infections during the spring and summer than the fall and winter

I have a few things to say, even though it doesn't matter, everyone's mind is made up.

1st- Mask should not be mandatory and business's shouldn't be closed! It isn't up to the government.
2nd- I do think mask help, but not a fix all. Even the cheap ones. Sure the particles do get through, but not with the velocity to spread as bad. (Again, shouldn't be mandatory)
3rd- This may not be worse than the flu percentage wise, but it is definitely having way more of an impact on the health system. The number of people getting it is astronomical. I don't care what you think of test numbers, I know what's happening on medical calls and the hospitals.

The hospitals are full. I heard of someone that was flown all the way to Washington DC to a hospital because they were the closest to except her. We had a stroke patient 5 days ago that was flown to a hospital in Nashville because none of the other stoke centers had beds available. She was non covid, but due to covid, couldn't get the fastest, best treatment available. This could effect everyone more than you realize.

I'm not telling you to be scared, and live in fear, but use your head and stay safe, even while hunting. Breaking a leg could be really bad depending on where you live right now.
