I will be hunting Freedom Hills today. I brought a friend with me to see if we can tag team a buck I saw. He got by at 50 yards the other day, but I think we may get a shot at him if he walks close to the same route. I killed a small 6pt harassing does yesterday. I wasn't going to shoot him, but after watching him grunt and put on a show, I couldn’t stand it, so I busted him and I also had help. Nothing special, but it was an exciting hunt. Cold pretty morning and one more buck tag...........

Good job man. Maybe he will come by this morning. I'm bringing my son up for the gun hunt this week.

Nothing this morning, but the wind has been all over the place. Movement has been good the past week. I have let a bunch walk. I got a buddy with me so I’m in kill mode.

It’s killing me that I’m not out there this week. I haven’t been out in a while and I know they’re chasing where I hunt, but work kicked back up and I haven’t had a break. Maybe I’ll get a chance tomorrow afternoon. Have my oak mountain hunt next week. After that I’m not sure I’ll get anymore chances to hunt.

Back after them this afternoon. I’m set up in big pines close to edge of bluff. These deer are staying in these pines to stay above bluff. Plenty of buck scrapes in here. First climb on this spot.
