I went to the police station and filed a report. The officer I filed the report with was my wife’s cousin. He said he would start the file and try to get it in front of an investigator quickly. I highly doubt anything will happen. Meanwhile, I am fixing to place a junk camera in a similar location with 3 different cameras watching the junk camera. Let em try it again 😉

I’m the opposite. I put my cell cams up high if there’s a threat of theft. Mine on the farm are safe unless someone swims the river. I’ve put broken cams down low but haven’t caught anyone being stupid

When uploading cameras to the app, it gives you an option to either 1)scan the QR code or 2)enter the given info

I don’t remember setting mine up, but could you go to your app and re-enter the needed info, if you still had it, and activate the cams back to you?

It wouldn’t give you location but would give insight in case they look into the cam while checking to see why it isn’t working.. or what kind of terrain they have the camera set up in

That would be awesome if it works!! If you get control of the camera with the app you might be able to look at the GPS and see where it is??

I’ve had 3 cell cams stolen. If u don’t have them to send the pictures per occurrence (which drains the battery pretty quickly) all they have to do is get it cut off quick.

The spartan ghosts have a built in gps that works for several days after u pull the batteries out. Keep the subscription going another month or 2 so no one can buy credits or a plan for it and have a working camera. Can’t get 2 plans going at once

Cold weather can drain batteries. Your cameras are still there most likely.

Can cold weather make them disappear too? Because Hevi posted that he has confirmed, that in fact, they are gone. grin

Yep they gone. One was on a hackberry with about 4 green briar vines growing up it. They didn’t even try to un-clasp the strap, they cut it and left the strap hanging. The other was on a slick barked red oak, they took the cam and the strap. They didn’t mess with my feeders nor my ladder stands so I know they walked in and I know from where. I just don’t know who. Got several suspects though.

Yep, I should have read the entire thread. I have all mine registered. It is hard to believe someone is dumb enough to reactivate them. File a police report. You can go after them just out of principle.
