The 130 thread was highly entertaining, and would like to know who all has killed a 140 and what County? Share story or history with deer. Or any giant that got away. The biggest deer I ever shot was in Lowndes county I never recovered him he was in my opinion in the 160's. I have killed a mid 150's in Butler County a few in in the 140's in Marengo, and a 140 in Wilcox. Biggest deer I've ever seen on the hoof was bow season in Marengo county in the early 2000's Im scared to guess what he would have scored I was 15 at the time.

I’ve got one that is in the low 140s and one that is in the low 150s. Both from Montgomery county.

I’ve killed 2 less than an inch shy of 140 in Russell county. Killed a 143 and change in tallapoosa county. I missed a deer in tallapoosa county that would have been mid 140s, maybe more. I have a few trail camera pictures of deer in tallapoosa county on my old place that would 100% be over 140. This was all over 10 years ago. We’ve got 1 deer on camera in the part of tallapoosa I hunt now that might go 130. We don’t shoot more than 1 or 2 deer a year that are 2 or 3 year olds, they just don’t seem to get very big on our place. They weigh over 200lbs at 5 but score 115 to 120. We got food and plenty of virgin hardwoods, but the racks just don’t get big. Doubt I’ll ever kill another over 130.

Of all the deer I've tracked, killed, or seen that were killed.......The biggest deer I've ever put my hands on came from St. Clair Co.......It was probably pushing 170.....

Last season in Houston County. He was actually on the decline. 3 years and 2 daylight pictures. Shot him on 12/25.

I ain't killed him yet and he may die of old age first but I have one that will be close to that on camera

I would love to see pics I don't know how to post them. I was kind of curious how this would go but in less than 10 posts 10 counties were represented and some of the best counties in the state haven't been mentioned yet. I think it will get better but Alabama can definitely produce trophy class animals under the right circumstances.
