Has anyone ever ran a Zink thunder ridge slate? I’m looking to step up from my old raspy hen slate that I’ve had for a few year but I don’t want to drop $80-100 on a woodhaven etc. Any other suggestions would be great too. Thanks!

I am far from a slate expert - I was very impressed w all the houndstooth mouth calls I just bought - never used their slate - but would not be afraid to look at their slates and that dude is on aldeer - he could even tell you best slate they hav - he did that with me several threads back w mouth calls and he was right
